Nery's Highlights

I think these are the first highlights that I see of Nery Castillo since the last Copa America. Nery hasn't given anybody too much to talk about, until today at least. I think he had nightmares last night, maybe picturing our boys in another 2-0 victory but this time at Azteca. All we know, is that he was not in the best of moods when he gave this press conference.

He criticized the Mexican media heavily, and told them among many other things that none of them know as much about soccer as the players because they never played it. He went on to say that Brazilian media and Argentine media know what they are talking about but the Mexican media had not a clue. As his tone raised so did the reporters, clearly there was a huge disagreement in the media room. The most harsh comment that Nery made was probably this; "Do you know what the difference is between you and I? I am in Europe and you are in Mexico and will not leave Mexico." Ouch.
